Interceptors are the smallest possible warships, ranging between 150 to 350 blocks. They are classified as a subclass of starfighters, and can be accessed by right-clicking Starfighter when detecting to open the subclass menu.
This warship class is designed to counter Starfighters and Tackle Gunships using Interceptor Cannons, which are only capable of damaging ships under 1000 blocks in size.
It is important to note that Interceptors are unable to damage ships piloted with a block count of 1000 or greater, regardless of their current block count.
Interceptors cannot use Starship Gravity Wells or Hyperdrives, and cannot defend or contest Station Sieges.
Interceptors only require 15% concrete and have a cruise multiplier making them 10% faster while cruising, but their shields are 66% weaker.
Interceptors are countered directly by Light Gunships and Gunships. Interceptors are effective counters against Starfighters, Tackle Gunships, and other Interceptors.
