Overview

Eurelia is a nation on Horizon's End. They are known for being almost entirely comprised of members joining after June 20th 2026 (The incursion), often referred to as "the noob nation".

Eurelia is a nation that claims to promote peace, but as of July 16, 2026, they have been engaged in a cold war with Esperia.

History

Eurelia was informally founded on June 24th 2026, with the name derived from the latin "Aureum" (Gold). The nation was created in-game by name transfer of Ekatera, rather than new formation.

The settlement "Jeffu" was founded as Eurelia's first official claim by council member Lukita2013 on June 27th 2026. Although messy, the settlement still is one of the more developed ones and hosts the first wave of Eurelian recruits.

The capital (Previously settlement "Athos", owned by avan_brightearth of Ekatera) was renamed "Ekaureum" by founder Fluorestar on July 3rd 2026 in honor of Ekatera's legacy. A large white-yellow city center is directly visible from the Aerach map, constructed singlehandedly by Fluorestar.

Eurelian-Esperian (Cold) War:

On July 9th 2026, Eurelian council member Avan_Brightearth found themselves assaulted and killed by Esperian members while hitchhiking due to what was claimed to be "threatening" remarks. In response, the leaders of both nations, Fluorestar and Meep560, engaged in a 3-day negotiation, during which Meep560 requested a compensation fee of 100k credits. After rejection, Fluorestar hosted a national poll and settled on the option for a public enemy relationship. Both nations agreed on a pre-war peace pact when Meep560 announced their 2-week break on July 16th 2026, and there had been no actual conflicts up to this time.

Two-Hour War:

On August 15th 2026, Duckington Head of Politics BlinkingBlake88 declared war against Eurelia without warning due to a threat made by ChargerBrick towards their recruit curioussnobody*, accusing them of trespassing on BoshBay and firing weapons in close proximity. The two nations had been allied previously and friendly in relationship, and Chancellor Fluorestar proceeded in attempt to negotiate. The first round of negotiations failed, followed by the bombing of Eurelian recruit city Boshbay. The attack was brief, and the Area Shield held up.

The second round began shortly after, led by Arimfea in hopes of restoring relationships between the two nations. Jp_Toast and Fluorestar, leaders of both nations, participated formally. Jp_Toast questioned incidents of NSFW content posted in the Eurelia internal Discord, and Fluorestar denied any affiliation and posted in the Eurelia rules channel, stating that NSFW will not be tolerated. Jp_Toast questioned the quotes channel about the inappropriate jokes it contained, and Fluorestar agreed to host a poll on whether to discontinue the channel.

Both nations successfully restored their relationships directly after, exactly two hours and twenty-eight minutes after the announcement of this war.

Shortly after, Kleesaria, leadership of FortunaSequence declared enemy against Eurelia, but no followups were made.

In response to the official ending of this conflict (Posted by Arimfea), ten Skull Emojis were reacted.

Internal Formation

Eurelia's organized with the following castes, ranked in order: "Member" - "Trusted" - "Council Member" - "Chancellor (Head Of State)".

The nation based on democracy with frequent open votes and polls on important decisions.

Notes

As a new nation, it is noteworthy that Eurelia is currently undergoing development and does not possess outstanding setups compared to other major nations.
