Imperium is a nation on Horizon's End, founded on 18 October 2026 following a planned separation from Radiance known as the Radiant Divorce. Its current member settlements are Iconia and Entopia.

Imperium is led by Archon Archillelas, alongside Chancellor Pan_Pandemonium and Admiral HulkBlockBuild. Its national motto is “Forging Unity Across the Stars.”

History

Origins

Imperium's history is rooted in Iconia, a settlement founded by Archillelas on 14 May 2024 under the name Zenithar. Established on Omri Island on Lioda, the settlement initially belonged to Shadow. Its path toward Imperium spans two defining events: the Radiant Revolution and the Radiant Divorce.

The Radiant Revolution — 3 July 2024

The Radiant Revolution marked the transition from Shadow to Radiance. On 3 July 2024, Shadow's active settlements departed and established Radiance, with Zenithar joining the newly formed nation.

For the settlement that would become Iconia, the revolution began its chapter within Radiance. Zenithar later adopted the name Iconia, developing the civic identity it would eventually carry into Imperium.

The Radiant Divorce — 18 October 2026

The Radiant Divorce marked Iconia's departure from Radiance and the founding of Imperium on 18 October 2026.

The separation arose from differences between Iconia's views and values and those of Radiance. Seeking a national direction that reflected its own community, Iconia planned its departure and discussed it with Radiance officials in advance. This planned and discussed separation became known as the “Radiant Divorce.”

The event closed Iconia's chapter within Radiance and established Imperium as a separate nation. Together, the Radiant Revolution and the Radiant Divorce mark two turning points in Iconia's political history: its entry into Radiance and its later departure to establish a new national identity.

Foundation of Imperium

Imperium emerged from the Radiant Divorce under the motto “Forging Unity Across the Stars.” Its founding gave its community a national framework through which to pursue its own views and values, bringing its member settlements together under a shared identity.

Settlements

Iconia

Iconia is a member settlement of Imperium, located on Omri Island on Lioda in the Sirius System. Founded by Archillelas, it was originally known as Zenithar before adopting its present name. Its departure from Radiance formed the background to Imperium's founding.

Entopia

Entopia is a member settlement of Imperium. Together with Iconia, it forms the nation's current settlement membership.

National Identity

Imperium's motto is “Forging Unity Across the Stars.” It expresses an ideal of cooperation and shared purpose across the nation's settlements, bringing its communities together under a common national identity.
