Overview

Eurelia is a nation on Horizon's End. They are known for being almost entirely comprised of members joining after June 20th 2026 (The incursion), often referred to as "the noob nation" in the early days of it's creation.

Eurelia is a nation that claims to promote peace, but historically on July 16, 2026, they have been engaged in a cold war with Esperia, and on August 20, 2026, they have been in active combat with the Tau Ceti Cleaning Company. The conflict with Esperia has been discontinued and TC3 Resolved peacefully.

History

Eurelia was informally founded on June 24th 2026, with the name derived from the latin "Aureum" (Gold). The nation was created in-game by name transfer of Ekatera, rather than new formation.

The settlement "Jeffu" was founded as Eurelia's first official claim by council member Lukita2013 on June 27th 2026. Although messy, the settlement hosts the first wave of Eurelian recruits and marks the nation's official beginning.

The capital (Previously settlement "Athos", owned by Avan_brightearth of Ekatera) was renamed "Ekaureum" by founder Fluorestar on July 3rd 2026 in honor of Ekatera's legacy. A large white-yellow city center is directly visible from the Aerach map, constructed singlehandedly by Fluorestar.

Eurelian-Esperian (Cold) War

On July 9th 2026, Former Eurelian council member Avan_brightearth found themselves assaulted and killed by Esperian members while hitchhiking due to what was claimed to be "threatening" remarks. In response, the leaders of both nations, Fluorestar and Meep560, engaged in a 3-day negotiation, during which Meep560 requested a compensation fee of 100k credits. After rejection, Fluorestar hosted a national poll and settled on the option to set their national relation to enemy. Both nations agreed on a pre-war peace pact when Meep560 announced their 2-week break on July 16th 2026, as there had been no actual conflicts up to this time.

On August 24th, Meep560 visited Ekaureum city in a starfighter unannounced. Instantly alerted, Fluorestar piloted an Eurelian G2 Broadsword "EUN Excalibur" (8000 Size) in response and forced Meep560 down onto the ground. Explaining that they were simply "Visiting", Fluorestar disabled their weapons, but the map already revealed Meep560's location. Two minutes later, head collector Chewywooki09 shot Meep and won a friendly duel with Fluorestar, successfully claiming both's bounties. Due to the unclear nature of this incident, no ships were taken or sunk.

NSFW Incident Chain (Resolved by Reformation)

In the early days of creation, when no rules had been specified, Council member KEKG sent an NSFW GIF in #general under unclear terms. In response, Chancellor Fluorestar debated whether to create a dedicated 18+ channel, but ultimately decided to eliminate NSFW content from the group and deleted the message. However, NoMoreThumbs of FortunaSequence, one of the victims of this incident, declared unfriendly with Eurelia afterwards. No other follow-ups were made immediately.

This incident indirectly led to the Two-Hour War (Eurelia - Duckington). During the negotiations ending the conflict, the incident was brought up along with several other inappropriate/out of context quotes from Council Member Ghoul_Hand. In response, Fluorestar posted a rework of rules and deleted any prior negative messages, ending the 2-hour war peacefully with both nations restoring a friendly relationship.

Following the incident, Avan_Brightearth was questioned and ultimately resigned from his previous Eurelian leadership role, joining Arimfea.

Two-Hour War (Peacefully Resolved)

On August 15th 2026, Former Duckington Head of Politics BlinkingBrake88 declared war against Eurelia without warning due to a threat made by ChargerBrick towards their recruit, curioussnobody*, accusing them of trespassing on BoshBay and firing weapons in close proximity to the territory. The two nations had been allied previously, and were at that point friendly in relationship, leading Eurelian Chancellor Fluorestar to attempt to negotiate. The first round of negotiations failed, followed by the bombing of Eurelian recruit city BoshBay. The attack was, however, brief, as the settlement's Area Shield deterred the assault's continuance.

The second round began shortly after, led by Arimfea in hopes of restoring relationships between the two nations. Jp_Toast and Fluorestar, leaders of both nations, participated formally. Jp_Toast questioned incidents of NSFW content posted in the Eurelia internal Discord, and Fluorestar denied any affiliation and forwarded the Eurelia rules channel, stating that NSFW will not be tolerated. Jp_Toast questioned the quotes channel about the inappropriate jokes it contained, and Fluorestar agreed to host a poll on whether to discontinue the channel.

Both nations successfully restored their relationships directly after, exactly two hours and twenty-eight minutes after the announcement of this war.

Shortly after, kleesaria, Archon of Fortuna Sequence, declared enemy relations against Eurelia, followed by an claim made on Eden by Eurelia and the sinking of Fluorestar's Photon Speed Shuttle "EUN Hummingbird" by two Assault Corvettes, piloted by kleesaria and Chewywooki09.

In response to the official ending of this conflict (Posted by Arimfea), ten Skull Emojis were reacted.

Eurelian - TC3 War (Peacefully Resolved)

On August 20th 2026, TC3 Custodian NebulousHarmony officially declared hostile against Eurelia due to conflicts with FortunaSequence following the two-hour war. Both nations were previously in unfriendly relationships due to minor conflicts regarding propaganda and land claim disputes, but no shots were fired.

Following the declaration, Chancellor Fluorestar claims to have proceeded in attempt to negotiate, but failed. The same afternoon, a lone Ozark belonging to an Eurelian was sunk by HomosexualMario's Corvette. After this incident, both nations officially declared hostility.

On August 23th 2026, Core TC3 Members HomosexualMario and D_503_ initiated a surprise assault on Ekaureum. Unprepared, an Eurelian Photon "EMS Woodpecker" (160 Size), a single Eurelian Comet "EUN Meteor" (353 Size), and 2 other shuttles were sunk. No casualties took place in Ekaureum, and one member was shot twice in another adjacent settlement *(needs clarification).

Later the same day, HomosexualMario returned in his Corvette for another siege on Fluorestar, who was alone in Ekaureum. However, Fluorestar countered this attack with an G2 Eurelian Broadsword "EUN Excalibur" (8000 Size), where the two participated in a 20-minute stall fight. Both sides were not damaged due to constant distancing and speed advantages of the Corvette, but the siege failed with HomosexualMario's eventual return to Cetus.

Tasting success, Fluorestar continued further into the Eurelian Reformation Plan, producing four individual Eurelian Broadswords in the course of two days and re-constructing the losses from the previous siege.

On August 25th, Eurelian council member KEKG led a negotiation attempt from leaders of both parties, Tau Ceti Custodian NebulousH4rmony and Eurelian Chancellor Fluorestar. During the negotiations, NebulousH4rmony pointed out that another cause of this conflict leads to the previous Eurelian-Esperian Cold war, and they hope to support their allies in their doctrine. Another reason was the controversy over Avan_Brightearth, but that was already resolved with their resignation prior to the negotiation.

During the negotiations, Fluorestar openly apologized for any negative image forged during the incident chains leading to this conflict, and expressed his appreciation for the peaceful negotiation despite the two nation's relations. NebulousH4rmony responded politely, and both agreed to a peaceful resolution followed by a moving of CubeMonBro and an embassy exchange in both capitals, marking the end of the Eurelian-TC3 War and Eurelian NSFW incident chain. (Hopefully)

Eurelia Reformation Plan (In Progress)

Following the beginning of the TC3 war and the end of the nsfw incidents which left a dirty spot in Eurelia's history, Chancellor Fluorestar announced a reformation plan in August 23th, 2026 in response to the previous setbacks consisting of organization, militarization and team building. The plan is currently in progress and there had been one successful fleet training session conducted and 4 G2 Eurelian Broadswords constructed in the span of 2 days. An order of 54 stacks of iron blocks was secured and currently on hold for delivery. Internally, more strict rules are forced and organization is taking place.

A few days later, Chancellor Fluorestar constructed and distributed 4 mini-core ships and 2 freighters to active Eurelian members for personal use and further contributions, while printing 2 more G3 broadswords parked at Ekaureum city. This marks a milestone in Eurelia history where the nation first began to provide benefits back to it's members.

On August 30th, Fluorestar constructed a total of 6 Eurelian Pulsar Heavy Assault Gunships (3x G2, 3x G3, One belonging to council member ChargerBrick on paper) and stored the flotilla in a personal station before going semi-active.

Internal Formation

Eurelia's organized with the following castes, ranked in order: "Member" - "Trusted" - "Council Member" - "Vice Chancellor" - "Chancellor (Head Of State)".

The nation based on democracy with frequent open votes and polls on important decisions.

Notes

As a new nation, it is noteworthy that Eurelia is currently undergoing development and does not possess as powerful equipment compared to other major nations, still relying mostly on cheap-focused tech-1 vehicles designed around dispensibility with tech-2 ships reserved for emergencies.
